  • Commentary from Marc:

"Through the years, I have seen how food could bring people together through, dining, entertainment, celebration, camaraderie, love, conversation, team building exercises, cooking classes etc. So I envisioned the possibility to bring such intimate service to the comfort of one's home and started A Chef For You for the fun of cooking really!
Food is so wonderful because it is at the epicenter of our daily life. It is the one thing we do the most often in the course of a day. Food brings me passion, love, humbleness, it commands respect. I live it, breathe it, smell it, eat it, and teach it. Food has brought me success and defeats, good and bad moments and despite all those years in the business I continue to learn something new every day. I have never regretted being a Chef and I thank God for that gift every single day.

Most chefs are true, passionate artists and philosophers, it goes hand in hand.

So I live my life as if today was my last one, a clean and unpretentious life but exiting and rewarding. When my last day comes, I want to be able to look back without regrets and enjoy the fire-work behind me, knowing that despite the mistakes I have made, and we all do, I have also made this world a little better for many people by touching them with my food or what ever positive I did for them.

What a way to utilize a free gift from God while having fun hey!"

Let me quote my favorite author Jack London:

"I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time."

Isn't food fun or what?
